Composition Is how you position and take your picture, it can be done in many different ways and in this assignment I will show and briefly explain 9 types of composition. Framing: Framing uses part of the picture in the front to frame or go around another part of the picture. Here are two examples: Fill the frame: Fill the frame is when you use over 75% of your subject is in the photo usually a close up shot. Here are two examples: Symmetry: Symmetry is when both parts or sides of your photo are alike or exact the same. Here are two examples. Figure to ground: Figure to ground is when you have lots of contrast between your subject and background. Usually done with sun in the background or two contrasting colors. Here are two examples: Patterns and repetition: Patterns and repetition is when you use patterns in a photo they can be consistent or be broken. Here are two examples: Negative space: Negative space is where you have a lot of space around your subject. The photo is a solid background or color with only a small or little part of the subject showing.
